Active Rusty!

Favorite Prey of Rusty

Rusty was very good at sensing rats and mouse. He used to get the smell of rats even before us.
Our old washing machine was favourite refuge for rats. The moment rat enters the machine; Rusty will scratch the machine and make lots of fuss to reach the rat. The rat was also very smart. It will not budge till Rusty is around. I have to remove Rusty from the area and open the machine to rescue the rat.
We used to stay in a very old house, which had lots of small holes to facilitate rats and mouse infestation. Every now and then, they will raid my kitchen. Those days were very busy for Rusty for he used to be very busy patrolling the kitchen and store. Whenever he used catch mice or rat, he used to keep it on my feet and I used to proudly pat him for his job.
Even in other old house he used to chase small mice and baby mice. The moment he put his heavy paws on teeny-meeny mouse, it will die. What followed this chase was my home was affected by cyclone of sorts. I have to tidy whole of my house after this dog and mouse chase.

I really miss his active chase and his cyclonic upheaval of my house!

Happy Birthday Rusty

Happy Birthday Rusty!

Today is Rusty’s birthday!

He descended onto this Earth on 1st December1997, to give us immense pleasure and joy. He gave us unlimited happiness, for which we all are always grateful to GOD!
We used to celebrate his birthday with special non-vegetarian food for him and a cake for him. I used to bake a cake for him. Kops and Krish used to cut cake on his behalf. He used to love his chocolate cake and used to gobble most of it. Dogs in our vicinity shared the food prepared for Rusty. The owner of other dogs used to feel surprised by this gesture. So, he used to have his own party with his friends and us.
His last birthday was memorable in a way. I baked his favorite chocolate cake. His Master came in the evening and we all together celebrated his birthday. Kops and Krish cut the cake in his presence. He was very happy and had his share of cake first. He shared his birthday cake with our neighbors who were surprised. Then he demanded more and he got most of the cake. I felt so satisfied.
Today when he is in heaven, I miss his birthday and each and every birthdays, which was celebrated like never before. He lived his life with Blessings of Higher One! All his wishes were fulfilled and he always lead a happy life.
May God Bless Him Wherever He Is!

Rusty And Raja

Rusty and Raja with Brindel, Hansmukh!

Rusty was gem of a dog. He never got into fight with any dog. One stray dog was adopted by one of the member of our colony. They named the dog Raja. He was King of the colony, for he knew the rules of the jungle. Rusty came with us and was given the freedom. Raja understood the rules that he should avoid Rusty and that he should not meddle with this new dog in his territory. Raja never used to come near our house but kept a vigil on the area touched by Rusty.
They got into fight once and Raja bit Rusty thrice. I used to clean the wound and dress his bite marks. Rusty never got infected seriously. Once rusty was welcoming his master when he came back from office by car. Somehow his foreleg got caught between the front wheels of the car. Rusty started shouting with pain. Raja got a chance and to make matters worse, raja came and started biting Rusty. We kicked and hit Raja but he was nat leaving helplessly trapped Rusty.
Very cunning Raja!
Then somehow Rusty was freed from daring clutches of Raja.Car was moved to free rusty. We heaved a sigh of relief! Rusty was shocked and was in pain. We gave him water and comfort and lots of love. He got over his fear and shock soon. He was courageous dog!
He also encountered Hansmukh, a dog with smiling face. This dog used sneak in from outside the colony to have a round and go off in style. Rusty and Hansmukh respected each other’s presence. They never had any problems with each other.

Brindal was a bitch who mated with Raja. She was always around the area. Rusty was curious but never interfered. When Brindal gave birth to 4 pups, Rusty went and saw them and came back. He never disturbed them.
Understanding his fellow beings was one of the biggest advantageous traits of Rusty.
Kudos! Rusty!

Village Dogs and Rusty

Village Dogs and Rusty

Rusty was very friendly and trained dog. He was never tied unless and until needed. He never took undue advantage of his freedom. He knew his territory and always used to respect his freedom.
Once he went to a nearby village, taking advantage of his freedom. He was unaware of those village dogs that always used to roam in-group. He went to village and was chased by those dogs. Like a gentleman he came back to his home. But he also got infected with lice. After few days his body was full of lice. I was afraid of anti tick treatment so I decided to pick all those lice. But they were too many so I bought one fine-toothed comb. I oiled his body and started combing him. He was very patient dog. He used to lie still till I finish combing. The moment I finish combing, he used to be so happy and relieved. He used to run away barking happily. After 15days of regular combing, I got rid of his village lice.
His Test of Patience is always Remembered!

Caught and Released-A Miracle Story of a Sparrow

Caught and Released-A Miracle Story of a Sparrow

Rusty gave many miracle stories worth mentioning. He was very possessive about his home. He can’t tolerate any intrusion by animals and birds alike. Once he scared delicate little robin while chasing the little bird out of the house. He was successful in his this venture.

One fine day, a sparrow lost its way into our main room. She was searching for a way out for a long time but was misconceived by clear glass window. The sparrow was tired after sometime but still it was trying. To make matters worst, Rusty appeared out of nowhere and started chasing the poor bird. The bird tried hard to save its life and Rusty tried hard to get at this little sparrow. I saw and tried to shoo the sparrow out of the house. But sparrow was scared of me also so it was confused as to which way is out to freedom.

Alas! He caught the sparrow in his mouth.

The sparrow was almost dead but still breathing. I ordered Rusty to give me the sparrow. He resisted and then he gave me the sparrow. I took the wet sparrow and saw that it was numb with fear. I gave it Reiki Healing. After a few minutes, sparrow opened its eyes and lifted its tiny head. I continued giving Reiki. The sparrow was lively and filled with new energy. The Divine energy gave it a new lease of life and it was ready to take another flight into freedom. I opened the door and let the tiny little life to take a leap towards a free and bright sunlight. I saw it flying high into the sky.

I thanked my guides for this miracle and I thanked Rusty for letting me to be a part of this Divine Miracle!

An encounter with wild kittens (civets)

An encounter with wild kittens (civets)

Rusty’s explorations lead to many unusual feats, which always fascinated us. We had an outhouse with a small verandah. We used to store unwanted articles in that area. There were few cardboard boxes filled with newspapers and waste products. We never used to venture in that area unless required. But the whole area was under supervision of Rusty. One day he was on his regular inspection, he spotted some kittens in that area. Now, his barking and attacking was really worth mentioning.
There were 3 wild kittens of a Civet (wild cat) who found our verandah a safer bet than nearby forest. But she lost her bet to our dear Rusty. He picked each of the kittens one by one, brought them in the front lawn. He started holding them from neck and took a deadly round with kittens in his mouth. They were scared stiff and shocked.
I came out to see what the commotion was about. I was surprised to see our gentle Rusty scaring the little ones. I shouted at him and caught hold of Rusty. I rescued the kittens and kept them in a basket. Then they were released in the nearby forest close to our house so that mother of kittens can find them.
Nosy Rusty can’t stand unusual guest in his territory!

Another tryst with big cobra, small cobra and a krate

Another tryst with big cobra, small cobra and a krate

This big fellow was very courageous! He just can’t tolerate his enemies entering his territory.
Rusty was strolling along the roadside in search of something interesting. He got a find of his lifetime!
A Big Cobra!
Oh My God! He started barking and Cobra started charging. His continuous barking brought me out of my home. He was just not listening to anyone. The moment he saw me, Rusty was more brave and started getting closer. I was afraid that Cobra might bite him, so I kept away and watched from distance. All the other people of the colony came out to see his courageous feat. One person had a brainwave. He threw some water on him. This calmed him and I was able to catch him. I heaved a sigh of relief and Cobra thankfully left the place, scared and shaken. We all were so happy that Rusty came out of trouble unscathed.

Another day, Rusty’s strong nose caught a familiar scent. He started his intent search. Behind the bushes! Along the boundary line! Near the pond! Amongst the earthen pots! And there his search ended! He found his catch! It was a medium sized Cobra!
He was so intelligent that he somehow trapped this cobra amongst the pots in such a way that Cobra’s tail was caught between a pot. This made the movement of Cobra impossible. He could just hiss and charge with his hood.
Very Intelligent Boy!
Then he scared the snake with his continuous bark.
We caught Rusty and locked him inside the house and called for help. Cobra was caught and released in the forest.

One sunny day, Rusty again encountered a small cobra in my kitchen garden. This cobra recently removed his skin. This made the cobra very sluggish and vulnerable. The new skin was shining and Cobra wanted to move to safe place.
Hmm! Rusty got to know about his plans and attacked Cobra. He really knew how to get Cobra. He caught cobra with his neck with his mouth deftly and quickly threw the snake on the ground injuring it. The snake was hit in this way many times. This made the snake almost dead. Controlling and catching Rusty was very difficult because he learnt to dodge me. He understood that I would catch him and lock him. Then he won’t get at his enemy. But I caught him somehow. I called guard and ask him to release the Cobra to safe place.
By Jove! Rusty was Brave Boy!

At night, Rusty used to go out on his own for a little stroll and to answer nature’s call. All of a sudden barking Rusty caught our attention. We went out to explore the reason for his excited barks.
Voila! Another snake!
This time it was Krate!
This Krate was one of the most poisonous species of snake. Rusty got hold of this dangerous snake. He was barking and made this snake to hide between the crevices of the damaged wall. But snake was visible and Rusty was trying very hard to get at the snake through his strong paws. Snake was lucky that Rusty could not reach him.
We caught Rusty and brought him inside the house forcefully. Then snake moved out safely for his night stroll.
God saved the Snake!

Monkey Trouble!

Monkey Trouble!

We were staying in an area full of monkey trouble. People were so scared of this troupe of monkey who developed skills to acquire food even from refrigerator. They were smart and intelligent. I used to hear lot many stories of these simians who were known to look after the welfare of their troupe very well. They were always on the look out for some mischief when their basic needs were satisfied. These brave hearts were not afraid of local dogs and they used to slap them whenever they got a chance. Monkeys used to scare the guts out of little children who used to come out unattended by an adult. People of the colony got used to the ways of the troupe but the wanted to get rid of this pestering monkey trouble.
Then, we landed with our Rusty. He was so beautiful and rare breed that even monkeys used to wonder whether he is a dog or not. Rusty was the King of the area where he used to roam around. His smell scared all the snakes away. His presence made these monkeys run away for their life. Whenever Rusty used to spot even a single one he used to trap them on a treetop and would not let them move out. They will just stay put! Then when Rusty will take a break and go for a drink of water, these monkeys will run for their life. So, our family and neighbors were free from this monkey trouble.
We shifted to other side of the colony to a bigger house. The people living on the upper side of the colony were used to peaceful atmosphere, free of monkey trouble. They started missing Rusty and feeling the monkey trouble, which returned back with full force. They thought of a plan. The plan was to fool monkeys. They recorded the barks of Rusty. They played his barking sound in the area for few days. Monkeys were so scared that they kept away from the area for long time.
But they used to think that why Rusty is not appearing?
He is barking but where is Rusty?
They got it!
There was no Rusty!
Only his recorded voice is heard. So these smart Simians were smarter than Humans!
They started their routine in normal ways and never went away from being
BIG MONKEY TROUBLE!

Rusty is Rusty! His absence is always felt!

Nutty Squirrel!

Nutty Squirrel!

My cute little house had a small place for electric meter with a small door. We could never lock this door due to faulty lock. One fine day we had small furry visitor in this small space. She was cute little squirrel who wanted to nest in the tiny space. We were admiring this sweet little animal when our dear Rusty could not tolerate a foreign inclusion in his territory.
My God! He was jealous and protective!
He waited patiently for few days, watching each and every move of the nutty squirrel. He spent hours sitting outside, watching with his half opened eyes.

His patience paid off!

The moment nutty squirrel came down for a walk, Rusty caught her with swift movement and killing the little one immediately. I was shocked to see his brutality but thought that this is his instinctual behavior. I scolded him. He understood! Rusty promised that he would never kill a squirrel. He kept his promise.

Obedient boy!

Rusty’s Rendezvous with Mr. Cobra

Rusty’s Rendezvous with Mr. Cobra

Rusty was always a bounding dog, full of energy!
He was always on the move during his youth. Always searching for interesting activity. He used to keep himself busy with something or other. His favorite pastime was investigating the area near our home.

We were posted in a small-town, nestled amongst great mountains of Himalayas. We were living in a beautiful colony surrounded by old trees. Once upon a time, this area was a part of a rich forest. Despite the area being developed, the flora and fauna was preserved to some extent. So, it was good area for new investigations by a prying dog.

Hmmm! Now what will this detective dog do?

He loved to go snooping. One fine day we were relaxing on a Sunday morning when we heard lots of familiar barking.
We went out rushing to explore the reason for his angry barks.

Lo! What we saw was surprising!

This little dog went for his snooping spree and found a BIG COBRA!

What he decided really took us aback!

He decided to fight with this adult cobra!!!

His motto-----“Go Away Or I Kill You!”

Cobra’s determination------“I won’t! I will fight and stay!
This is my home for years!”

Rusty---- “Ok! Let’s see who wins!”

Then the combat started! One with heavy strong barks with muscular and alert built and other with slithery strong physique, armed with poisonous venom!

Who will WIN!!!!!

Combat field was in my neighbor’s home with lovely garden. The garden was full of beautiful flowers and green grass. The house was under a big teak tree. A pond full of Lotus gave it a delightful appearance.
Cobra was jumping angrily and spitting venom!
Rusty was barking and attacking the snake with alert attacks! Lots of skilful attacks and deep angry bark affected the snake. He was tired and scared. Mr. Cobra was on his tail many times to attack Rusty but was not successful.

We were mute spectators for if we moved towards Rusty, Rusty used to change his course of action. We avoided any movement but were watchful due to his dangerous position.

It was a matter of life and death!
This fight went on for nearly 2 hours. Both the strong fighters were tired! Rusty’s mouth was full of froth. But this brave fellow refused to budge!
Then, for a while Rusty kept quiet responding to our calls. He stopped for a moment.
Mr. Cobra got his life saving moment!

He ran away in the thickness of the bushes.

By Jove! That was close one!

Rusty was shocked to see his prey disappearing. But we caught him before he went for another encounter. We were relieved to get him back unscathed. We hugged him and gave him lots of water and special treats.
That was really a good encounter, which revealed Rusty’s brave attribute.

Mystery of Disappearing Crayons

Mystery of Disappearing Crayons

So the story of a young member of the family started with a soft bang.

My sweet little boy was all set to start his new life on this earth with all of us. He used to sit on my lap. He never used to understand that he is grown big for my soothing lap.
Ani, “Rusty! Now you are grown up! You won’t fit in nup’s lap! Get down!”
He won’t listen and will close his eyes.

“I will not get off! Am satisfied! I am in my momma’s lap!” Rusty thought.

He was on baby cereals and other tonics for nearly 5months.Then I started his rice feed. The moment he used to finish his food he use to announce his empty bowl with a bang. Then he used to play with the bowl for an hour, happy and contented. Then his walk and sleep time used to be on the sunny terrace. His special interest was in Kop’s crayons, which he used to relish. We never knew about his latest venture. We used to scold kop for using excessive crayons.

“Kops, where are crayons? We keep on buying new packs and you are throwing them here and there!” Shouted momma.

“Momma, I don’t use them. They are disappearing!” Kops said meekly.

One fine day, Kops shouted, “Momma! Momma! See! What is this?”

She was seeing some colorful pieces on our carpet.
We discovered that it was colorful potty of Rusty. It was full of undigested pieces of crayons –red, blue, yellow, green etc. I told Kops about a naughty thief in our house and was sorry to scold her.

He loved to play with shoes of kops and papa. One day we were watching TV; he was getting bored so Rusty thought of something real intelligent to do with his spare time. He picked up the shoes with the lace and started going round and round with shoe going round and round attached with the lace. It was rotating with full speed above his head.

“Wow! That was really very interesting!”

His intelligent move sent us in fits of laughter and admiration for this little chap. His intelligence and patience was more than normal dogs. He was blessed with extraordinary gift of Super Dog!

Momma! You Made My doggy Lazy!

Momma! You Made My doggy Lazy!

One Fine day we all were sitting and chatting over a cup of tea. My elder daughter was arguing with me over petty issues.

She exclaimed; “Momma! You are lazy and you made my doggy lazy!”

My temper soared but was calmed by soothing memories of so-called doggy Rusty who was with me through thick and thins of my life!

I was down with a serious ailment of stomach, which made me bedridden for few months. I was so sick that I could not sit for long time and was under strong medication for long time. My little doggy was so faithful that he sensed that am not so well! Surprisingly, he used to sleep whole day beside my bed.

He had his own cozy little bed. He was always sleeping and waiting for me to get up. His only movement was to answer nature’s call and to have his food. He was amazingly faithful to be by my side all through the day and night, keeping an alert vigil on my deteriorating condition.
In the meantime, one day, he went out for his regular stroll. We got an urgent call
from our friendly neighbor that Rusty could not stand and he is sitting immobile on muddy road. We got scared and ran outside to find him sitting immobile. His Master went and brought him to the house in his arms. Lots of rubbing and massaging was of no help. We saw that his hind leg has been dislocated.

Now, we got a shock of our lives; “what to do?”

We went to doctor. He got his X-ray done which confirmed our fears. This doctor was unable to help Rusty. He diagnosed operation. We didn’t want any suffering for him. Then we consulted one senior doctor who instilled confidence in us that false joint will grow and he won’t be handicapped.

“Whew! What a relief!”

I was passing Reiki continuously. One fine day, we came across one more dedicated doctor who was expert in this sort of dislocation. We went to him. His confident approach gave new lease of life to Rusty. He fixed the leg to the nearest joint (delay by 3-5days caused some tissues to grow). He bandaged the joint and he was on bed rest for one month. We used to carry 32kg dog for his nature’s call and he used to follow our commands. He was so obedient dog. He was fed on bed and he let us pamper him. He was Royal Dog!
After a month, his bandage removed and he was free again with no limps. I used to give him oil massage on his affected leg regularly to strengthen his muscles. He was up and moving without difficulty. He overcame his handicap with his patience and our help.
Despite his restored movement, this little doggy was still on his bed all day long to accompany his sick momma!

I admire his courage and patience with which he was beside me when I was sick. He was always with all the family members when they used to fall sick for one reason or other. If any one of our two daughters used to cry, he used to come and lick them with affection. This passionate gesture used to elevate the moods of both our girls. He always used to sense that someone is in need of his healing energy. He used to give those loving healing energies through his healing presence dotted with worried looks on his lovely warm face!
His presence near us will automatically reduce our pain. Our joys of having him besides us always brought smile to our miserable face! We all used to see his adoring face and forget our everyday woes of life!

But I Loved Him To Be One Big Lazy Rusty!

I GREW UP WITH RUSTY

I grew up with Rusty. I was like his little sister. He was 11yrs and I was 10yrs. He protected me with all his love and care. He never was angry even when I irritated him too much. His patience was eminent from his tolerant behavior. When it was too much for him to bear all that I was doing to him, then he used to run away to another room. He was always there to console me when I was upset without uttering even a single word. His support gave me lots of strength. I used to take him for a walk everyday.
We were living in an apartment on 3rd floor.
“Bow wow! Bow wow!”
He used to call lift by his strong bark if the lift was delayed by minutes. Once we walked to the lift door, his leash got stuck in the lift door. Lift started going down and the chain- it was stuck in the door of the lift on 3rd floor. He was wearing a choke chain. He started suffocating.
“Momma! Momma! Help!” I shouted with full might.
He was struggling to get free from the chain. I was scared that I would lose him. I opened the inner door of the lift to stop it.
“Voila!”
The lift stopped. Rusty was on his hind legs, struggling bravely. I was trying to lift him up to keep his neck bit loose till help arrives.
But, amazingly the chain was broken with his power and strength. He wanted to live with us. God was calling him, but he refused and stayed with us for little more time.
I was relieved that nothing happened to him. He went for a walk and had a nice time downstairs in the open fresh air. He came back and had lots of water and rested in the evening.
I miss him very much and I pray to God for his peace and Thank God for all the memorable time he spent with us.

Someone Special

Someone Special
"He was someone very special to me,
with whom I used to share every joy of my life.
He was an important part of my life.
When I was sad I used to talk to him & he heard me patiently & seldom replied.
I miss a very special part of my life.
We used to go out for walks, to parks & to shops.
& The great thing was he never lied.
From morning till noon he used to be alone

& he danced the moment I stepped inside my house.
I miss all of this which was very close to my heart
He was my best friend since my childhood & he used to talk to me of the latest trends.
Of his love & greed,
Of dogs & their breeds,
He loved to talk & enjoyed long walks
He was really smart & was talented to the core
He was always there to support me.
He was always there to support me.
He did not like movies but loved to dance on pop classics even on English songs
He was my best friend since my childhood & I firmly believe he too loved me.
He is my late dog “Rusty” the majestic of all the Irish Setters in the World."

Divine Experience --Transcension to Higher Spiritual Level

I lost my pet dog that I loved very much. I could not get his memories of last days out of my mind. Though I had divine experience regarding his demise.

“Reiki and my ascended masters and spiritual godheads always helped me in the times of need. To reach them I always needed the blessings of my Guru.
Maharaj ji always caters to our needs and is there to give us strength whenever we need. Being a Devotee and follower of my Sadguru, I always looked upon him as my Mentor and Strong pillar of my life and other lives whom he touches through me. When I was enlightened by the grace of Maharaj ji, I never realized that I would need his support in future. He was always by my side when I was cheerful. I always banked on him even in my times of happiness for I was grateful that he has given me more than I needed.
He was always our Guardian.
My companion in the form of Rusty came into my life 11 years before. He came to me with his lively puppy energy. He gave best of his life to my family and me. His faithfulness and intelligence made him star of our eyes. Gradually, his health started declining with the advancement of age.
As a Lightarian Reiki Master I was passing Reiki to Rusty all the time. Consciously or subconsciously my healing energies were directed towards Rusty. I requested Higher Beings to help him ease his pains. They were all there. But God is Supreme!
My companion, my dog Rusty was very sick. We gave him best of care and medical facilities to cure him but God had other plans. He was very sick and old, then I asked Maharaj ji to take care of him and I left all to him. My daughter tied a locket of Maharaj ji for his protection. I prayed for his betterment. But he left us.
Today, my companion passed away after few days of suffering. One has to die once he has taken birth. The sadness of his leaving this world left me very morose. The gloom descended on me and I was down in dumps without him. Then I requested Maharaj ji on that day (11.8.2008) to give him “Moksha”. I requested all my ETs to Guard his mortal remains till it blends into 5 “tattwas”. They were all there and still there where he was buried. I was very upset but relieved that Rusty’s suffering has ended. Then ,I came to Maharaj ji.
The beauty of the astral occurrence left me flabbergasted. I was meditating on 2.8.2008; I went to Maharaj ji in my ethereal form with Rusty’s soul wearing a locket of Maharaj ji in his neck. He was all in bluish white transparent form. I was in bluish white transparent form wearing a flowing robe and covered head. Maharaj ji was in his ethereal form and was sitting on a throne of white. I fell on his feet with clasped hands. Rusty was by my side. I requested Maharaj ji for his Moksha. I pleaded him for his spiritual ascension towards Higher level without passing through the pains of life and death of other “yonis”(rebirth to a higher life form). My pleas for his “Mukti” were going on even when I finished my meditation. I was confident of one thing that Maharaj ji will never let me down. I gave Rusty all my good karmas for his “Nirvana”.
“Maharaj ji! Bless my Rusty with Mukti!”
In the afternoon, my kids and I were relaxing after the days work when the room was filled with Divine Fragrance.
I inquired,” Anybody has lighted incense stick?”
They all checked. But no one lighted the sticks for worship. I was confirmed that Maharaj ji came to my home. Then my kids reported the smell of Rusty with the Divine Fragrance. The Divine Fragrance lingered on for 15-20 minutes in whole of the house. I was confirmed that Maharaj ji has granted my Wishes and that Maharaj ji announced his decision before the transition of Rusty to Higher spiritual level. All the ascended Masters and Spiritual Godheads came to take Rusty from Guruji. He was transcended to Higher Spiritual level with the Blessings of Guruji. I was very happy and satisfied. Then next day, while meditating, I thanked Maharaj ji for His Shower of Blessing to Rusty. In my ethereal form I saw Maharaj ji on his throne and am there on his feet but Rusty was not there. I am Thankful to Maharaj ji for the Generous Ascension of Rusty’s soul! Am thankful to Ascended Master Buddha, Spiritual Godheads, Ascended Master Sananda, Mother Earth Gaea, Ascended master Almorya, Archangel Raziel, And Master Maitreya for transcending Rusty’s Dog form to Highest Ethereal and Spiritual form.”

Rusty Roxie---An Irish Setter With Humane Heart

Once upon a time there lived a perfect family of three lived huddled in a scenic cozy setting of ooty. There were dad, mom and sweet little daughter bubbling with energy. They lived in a beautiful double storied house set in the center of the town on a hilltop. It overlooked the beautiful Nilgiri mountains peacefully nestled amidst the hustle bustle of tourist town. The families of three were very happy till they were shocked by sudden demise of their sweetie pie dog ‘Woofy’. Her loss made mom very sad and her friend was concerned for mom’s mental state.
Ani,” You are so sad! I can feel your pain and I don’t want you to suffer like this. My advice as a friend and sister bring one more member in your family.”
Mom,” My husband won’t agree with the new dog. He is on way to Malaysia.”
Ani,” Oh! I will ensure that he will fall in love with this cute little bundle of joy.”
A perfect setting for entry of one more member in this cute and caring family of three. So, mom and daughter proceeded to Coimbatore. They went to a family who had few pups of Irish setters. They wanted to give a good home to their pups. So, mom got one healthy male pup. He was so cute and held onto mom’s hand as if he won’t leave it. Kops fell in love with this joyful bundle the moment she saw it. Oooooh! It was so aesthetic feeling that I will be responsible for all the needs of this little life. They went to their friend’s house where he had his first milky meal. This close friend fell in love with this bounding pup. Then they went to Ooty. We had uneventful cozy night with satisfied baby. Next morning, they had a surprise! Dad came back with a lousy mood of not being able to go to Malaysia. The moment he saw bubbly pup of chestnut brown color and long ears, he forgot his disappointment. Lovely boy who brought back joys to the family. He was christened ‘Rusty Roxie’. ‘Roxie’ was the surname given by didi(elder sister) who felt that he should have surname like we all have.
